This watch model was born from a special request from a very special client of ours.

The main components of a watch are: the case, the dial, the movement, the crystal, and the strap.
As you know, at NOAH we produce cases and dials from very resistant exotic wood.

When the case and dial are processed, a channel with a cross-section of 1 x 1 mm is made, in which the jeweler inserts the gold rings.

Sizing and design play extremely important roles in this process, because the gold must appear exactly in the desired areas. On the case, the gold must appear above the metal parts that enclose the strap lugs, and on the dial along the height of the border, in line with the hands and under the 12 markers.



These inserts bring at least two advantages:
- An extra design touch. Both the case and the dial have a gold ring, which brings a chromatic accent to the compact mass of the wood and additional reflections.
- Increased resistance to mechanical shocks and deformations caused by exposing the watch to high temperatures.


Such an order takes approximately 30 working days.
