What is a NOAH watch made of?
The case and dial are made of 100% natural wood, shaped and finished by hand in our workshop in Cluj. The glass is sapphire, with a hardness of 9H. The movement is Swiss, Ronda cal. 705, gold-plated, with 5 jewels. The strap is calf leather. See also the types of wood we use.
What can I customize?
In the MY NOAH configurator you choose the size (41 or 45 mm), the wood of the case, the wood of the dial, the hands and the strap. You can engrave a text or a logo on the back of the watch and on the lid of the ash-wood box.
What can I engrave and where?
On the back of the watch we can engrave up to 30 characters or a logo. On the lid of the wooden box, up to 100 characters or a logo.
Which size should I choose?
41 mm watches have an 18 mm strap, and 45 mm watches have a 20 mm strap. If you're not sure, see the Sizes page.
Is the watch water-resistant?
The watch is splash-resistant, for example when you wash your hands or when it rains. Do not submerge it, shower with it or swim with it.
How do I care for the watch?
Every 2–3 months, wipe the case with a soft cloth dampened with a mix of one teaspoon of olive oil and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Then wipe it with a dry cloth. You’ll find more tips on the About natural wood page.
How do I set the time and date?
The crown has three positions. Pushed fully in, the watch runs normally. Pulled out to the first position, you change the date by turning the crown forward. Pulled out fully, you set the time by turning the crown either way. Then push the crown back in. Full instructions come in the box with every watch.
Can I be allergic to wood?
Very rarely, if your skin is sensitive to certain types of wood. Details on the About natural wood page.
How long does a wooden watch last?
We have been making wooden watches since 2015. The wood is selected, dried and finished to stay stable, and if you take care of your watch, it will be with you for many years.
How long until I receive my watch?
Every watch is made by hand after you place your order. For the Original and Family collections it takes 7–14 working days. Watches designed in MY NOAH and special editions take 10–20 working days. Aspire watches and straps arrive in 4–5 working days.
How much does delivery cost?
In Romania, courier delivery is free. For watches, delivery within the European Union and the United Kingdom costs 39 EUR, and to the rest of the world 49 EUR. You’ll see the exact cost before payment.
Which couriers do you use?
In Romania we deliver with DPD and FAN Courier. If you prefer one of them, tell us in the order notes.
Do you ship outside Romania? Will I pay customs duties?
Yes, we deliver to Europe and the rest of the world. Within the European Union you pay no extra fees. Outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply; they are paid by the customer when the parcel arrives.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes, all prices on the site include VAT.
How do I track my order?
After you order, you’ll receive a confirmation email. When your watch leaves the workshop, we’ll send you a second email with the tracking number.
Can I cancel or change an order?

What happens if I refuse the parcel?
The parcel comes back to us. The refund follows the same rules as a return, including for personalised watches.
What does the 2-year warranty cover?
The warranty covers the movement, the dial and the case. The strap and the sapphire glass are covered for manufacturing defects.
How do I send my watch in for service?
Fill in the form on the Service/Repairs page, with the serial number (SN) engraved on the back of the watch. During the warranty, in Romania, we send a courier at our cost who collects the watch within 72 hours and we return it to you after the repair. Customers outside Romania pay the shipping.
How is the battery changed?
In our service, NOAH watches are opened and closed with a system that uses air pressure. That’s why we don’t recommend opening them at home or at another watchmaker. For any issue, including a battery change, send us the watch: this way we can make sure it keeps working for a long time.

After the warranty: a battery change costs 79 lei, and shipping back to you costs 21 lei. You send us the watch by courier.

All repairs are done by us, in our workshop in Cluj. Fill in the form on the Service/Repairs page and, once we’ve seen the watch, we’ll tell you the cost of the repair.
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from delivery to return a watch. If the watch is not personalised, you get the full price of the product back. You pay the shipping to us, and the watch must arrive in the condition you received it in, because we check it on arrival. For personalised or engraved watches, the personalisation cost of 400 lei is deducted from the refund. Write to us at contact@noah-watch.com before you send the parcel.
