When you speak of Master Gheorghe Zamfir, you automatically speak of his soul instrument, the ney.
We wanted to create a valuable watch, with a concept that would endure for decades.
Olive wood over 500 years old pairs beautifully with ebony, and thus we managed to make the watch stand out through strong contrasts.
The ebony dial base contains a gold plate in its section, both being textured with special milling tools to highlight the geometry of the ney.
On the back of the watch, a medallion has been inserted containing Master Gheorghe Zamfir's signature and the name ZAMFIR 80, marking the beautiful age of 80 years.
The dial. The top ring of the dial is made of olive wood over 500 years old, with the 12 markers painted by hand. The base is made of African ebony and has an inlaid gold plate in the shape of a ney. After the wood and gold are joined, the entire dial is machined with a special milling tool that brings out the geometry of the ney in relief. The dial alone takes approximately one week of work.
The case. It is entirely made of African ebony and olive wood and has a diameter of 45 mm. On the back, a 14K gold medallion is embedded, with Master Gheorghe Zamfir's signature and the name ZAMFIR 80. After engraving, the jeweler manually fills the inside of the letters with rhodium, so that they stand out in contrast.

This certificate attests that you have a watch from the ZAMFIR 80 collection.
Each watch is individually numbered and has a series engraved on the back of the watch, between 1 and 80, accompanied by the Master's signature.
