NOAH on BT Story: the story of an idea that became a studio

Banca Transilvania has a blog, BT Story, where it tells the stories of the entrepreneurs it supports. NOAH appeared there twice: once with the story of our beginnings and once, in 2018, with the plans we had at the time.
The first story: the idea
The first article told how an almost crazy idea, a wooden wristwatch, became a business. We held the first test watch in our hands in 2014, the first watch sold went out in 2015, and in 2016 we founded the company.
The second story: 2018, the year of investments
In 2018, the BT team visited us again. We were working on a hybrid wooden watch at the time and thinking about our first physical stores. We talked about hard-to-find suppliers, the team, and why you can't stand still.

What remained
Some plans changed: the hybrid watch is no longer produced. What mattered most remained: the workshop in Cluj and its people. Each watch passes through the hands of four artisans, made of natural, unpainted and unvarnished wood, with a Swiss Ronda movement and sapphire glass. Today, over 5,000 people wear a NOAH watch.
